libusbredirhost-dev software package provides implementing the usb-host (*) side of a usbredir connection (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libusbredirhost-dev
libusbredirhost-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libusbredirhost-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libusbredirhost-dev *
You will get with libusbredirhost-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
